CLARA ALMOST Band

Clara Almost Here is a pop-punk-rock-alternative band, formed in 2008 in a small place called Ampera, on Jakarta, indonesia. Four students decided to start an "Lying for fun band" inspired by pop-punk-rock band. In the first moment, the group was formed by Indra Desanri a.k.a John(grab the mic/arranger/distortion), Youdha Hanottama(beat/power/comedian), Rayyan Sutandji(noise factory/little distort), and Steven Yudha(low string/lyrics department/backing vocal). Clara Almost Here is a blend of energetic rhythm, textural riffs, driving power chords, and vocal melodies that are no less than infectious. A few months later Clara Almost Here recorded their first self-released demo "Inside from our life was lying or fun".
Indra Desanri a.k.a John is influenced by Indie and alternative sounds like Jimmy eat world, Fall out boy, We the king, the chase, etc. You-dha Hanottama is inspired mostly by metal-rock groups like Avenged sevenfold, Sum 41, etc. Steven Yudha follows the wave of pop-punk bands like New found Glory, Yellowcard, but also enjoy the light sounds of Dashboard confessional etc. Rayyan Sutandji is attracted mostly by noise sounds and atractive perfom like Escape the fate, the used, etc. Clara Almost Here sounds are not influenced by the desire of writing new songs, but from the meeting of different feelings and emotions that every member of the group feels. Clara Almost Here are usually compared to bands like Fall out Boy, Yellowcard, and The chase(from U.K). Maybe future is truly holding for the guys "The lifestyle of the rich and the famous", maybe not. By now, they are committing themselves to kick the asses on the road. Don't miss it...
